Privacy Policy

Valera Lavrov (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the 'Secure Data Keeper' mobile application (the “App”).

This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

1. Overview

The App is designed to help users store their personal information securely. Personal information entered into the App is encoded on the user’s own PC or device before storage. The encoded data is then transmitted over the network and stored in the user’s selected Google Drive location.

We do not collect, sell, rent, or otherwise monetize users’ personal data.

2. Information We Access

The App does not require account registration with the Developer.

The only access requested by the App is permission to create, read, and manage the App’s file or files in the user’s Google Drive, as authorized by the user through Google.

We do not collect personal information such as your name, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, messages, precise location, payment data, advertising ID, or similar information for our own use.

3. User Content

The App may process and store content provided by the user, including personal information, solely for the purpose of the App’s core functionality: secure personal data storage.

Such content is encoded on the user’s PC or device before upload. We do not read, analyze, or use that content for advertising, profiling, marketing, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.

4. How Data Is Used

The App uses data only to:

- encode user-provided content on the user’s PC or device;
- upload and store encoded content in the user’s selected Google Drive storage;
- read previously stored App data from Google Drive so the App can function as intended.

We do not use user data for advertising.
We do not use user data for analytics.
We do not build user profiles.
We do not sell or share user data with data brokers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share user personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the App’s storage functionality through Google Drive, and only based on the user’s direct authorization.

Accordingly, user data may be transmitted to and stored by Google Drive as chosen and controlled by the user. Google’s handling of data is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policies.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Drive API solely to store and retrieve the App’s data in the user’s selected Google Drive.

No advertising SDKs are used at this time.
No third-party analytics SDKs are used at this time.

7. Data Collection by the Developer

We do not collect or store users’ personal data on our own servers.

We do not receive the contents of the user’s stored information except where technically required for direct transfer to the user’s authorized Google Drive storage as part of the App’s normal operation.

8. Data Retention

Because we do not maintain our own user-content storage, we do not retain personal user content on Developer-controlled servers.

User content remains stored in the user’s selected Google Drive until the user deletes it, removes the App’s access, or otherwise manages it within their Google account or through the App.

9. Data Deletion

Users may delete their stored App data by deleting the relevant files from Google Drive or by using any deletion features provided in the App, if available.

Users may also revoke the App’s access to Google Drive through their Google account permissions.

If you contact us regarding deletion, we can explain the available deletion methods, but we cannot delete files directly from a user’s personal Google Drive unless the App is expressly authorized by the user to do so.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data handled by the App. According to the App’s design, user content is encoded on the user’s PC or device before transmission for storage.

Network communication with Google services is performed using industry-standard secure transport mechanisms provided by Google and the platform.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

11. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.

12. International Use

Depending on the user’s location and Google account infrastructure, data stored in Google Drive may be processed or stored in different countries under Google’s applicable terms and policies.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at the updated privacy policy location and reflected by a new effective date.
